Founder Peter Shalala, CPA, CA, began his career in public accounting before spending several years in commerce. During the pandemic, he moved into technology, working with finance teams and customers. He brings that experience to SHALALA’s bookkeeping service.
SHALALA handles monthly bookkeeping and recordkeeping in your QuickBooks Online file.
Clear scope and predictable monthly fees help you understand the work before you commit. Questions, document requests and bookkeeping exceptions are handled online and in writing.
You keep your existing accountant for tax and year-end advice, and you keep your QuickBooks Online file and records.

The scope, fee and responsibilities are set out in writing before work begins. The fit assessment helps establish whether the service suits your business.
Human review matters.
Technology supports routine workflows. SHALALA remains responsible for reconciliations, exceptions, bookkeeping review and month-end completion.
Keep a written record.
Work is handled remotely and in writing, with questions when more information is needed. An optional free 15-minute introduction is available before you decide whether to proceed. Ongoing bookkeeping support is handled in writing.
